The Great American Doll House Museum

Ever since I have watched Toy Story 3 I have never been able to get rid of my dolls. The way Disney personified the toys just broke my heart to see them neglected when the time came to weed out the junk toys.

Last Tuesday I had the chance to visit the Great American Doll House Museum for one of my choir events. The room was a never ending maze of doll houses arranged by a time-line starting in 1700s. With each step I took there was something more amazing every time. The way all of the doll houses were decorated with such detail was spectacular! I can't say enough good things about the museum. It is a history lesson in it's self!

Below are a couple pictures of the doll houses.

(Every house is glassed in)

I hope you get to stop by this wonderful place!
