I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! It is hard to believe we have clicked off another year!
Every January 1st we have a new beginning. We can accomplish tasks we didn't do the previous year and maybe even try new things! One of my favorite things to do is to make a list of goals I want to accomplish. I will admit, writing the list is a whole lot easier than sticking to the goal!
Having a clean slate to the new year makes me think of how Jesus forgives us of our sins and gives us a clean slate! When we forgive Him everything washes away and becomes new. 1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all un-righteousness." I think this is a great example of how we can start 2012!
