Walt Disney World is my favorite place on earth! I'm pretty smart when it comes to Disney trivia and where the best photography spots are when shooting at the "Wishes" fireworks show. Needless to say, this year will be my 5th trip to Disney World.
I subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog. So every morning, at 7:00, I get my "fix" of Disney updates. Well, Snow White’s Scary Adventures closes today at the Magic Kingdom. Snow White is a Day 1 attraction, as in it opened on October 1, 1971.
It is being removed because Disney is building a new Mine Train roller coaster themed around the Seven Dwarfs and putting a large Princess Meet and Greet where the dark ride currently stands.

It is pretty sad to see Snow White’s Scary Adventures close. Though ALL the WDW rides are my favorite, I loved this ride. Not just because it's an easy-going and maybe a little frightening jaunt in the forest with Snow White but because "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" started the Disney Movie saga.

Aw that's too bad it's leaving!! Couldn't they just leave it and make more room? But it sounds like they're putting in cool new stuff.
